Working in nearly arid conditions, a series of ligand complexes of O, O’-dilakyl and alkylene dithiophosphates of tin (IV) phthalocyanine complexes were prepared. The prepared complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, IR, and multinuclear NMR (1H, 13C, 31P and 119Sn) spectroscopy. Single crystal X-ray analysis of C44H44N8O6P2S2Sn revealed an octahedral structure for the tin atom. The biocidal studies depict that these complexes are active against some bacterial strains.
