College advisors face significant challenges in providing personalized guidance due to extensive caseloads, leading to ambiguity in course selection, wasted time, and potential delays in graduation. The lack of engaging and visual tools further contributes to a suboptimal planning experience.
Our system generates personalized degree roadmaps and analyzes scheduling options using advanced AI and ML algorithms. It integrates insights into graduation pathways and career goals to suggest relevant courses and facilitate seamless communication between students and advisors.
The system provides optimal scheduling options based on course availability and academic requirements. It offers insights into graduation pathways, empowering students to make informed decisions. Visual progress tracking helps students navigate degree requirements effectively, and administrators gain valuable data insights for academic planning and resource allocation.
Personalized degree roadmaps enhance academic planning, support services, and strategic decision-making. Future research could explore further integration of predictive analytics for student performance and the impact of personalized roadmaps on graduation rates.

Role: I took charge with helping set up the data schema for the overall project. Writing my parts of the Software specification document along with the design document, scheduled team meetings and documenting new requirements discussed on our calls. On the implementation side, I worked closely with the team lead to create the database tables, along with writing scripts that helped automate the process of hydrating the tables with student/administrator data and course data. As far as the web application portion of the project, I handled sending the appropriate data to the frontend based on the view/permissions the user had. This consisted of many controllers, web routes and database queries. The other end of our project was an Api that handled the logic for generate the student’s roadmap based on the data models received from each college along with the students’ profile data. This Api was written in Golang.
