The second of two new additions to our pre-conference series, the ERN team presented a webinar designed to help students and others interested in industry careers gain an understanding of the industry landscape, what technical and business skills are needed to be successful in industry, and steps to prepare for industry careers. The webinar aimed to provide information on job search strategies, crafting a competitive resume and application, and interview tips. The presenter hoped to share insight into industry workplace culture and strategies for promotion and lateral movement opportunities within a company. Finally, the presenter wanted to highlight how she has leveraged her industry background and expertise to create her own personal brand and consulting firm.
